Westmeadows Primary School offers a Fully Accredited Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program where parents can have peace of mind knowing that their children are well cared for and engaged in fun and safe activities.
Our program boasts an environment where Professional educators provide care that is inclusive and respectful of children of all abilities, gender, diversity and culture.
Our Educators aim to achieve best practice in all aspects of our program, striving to create a caring, stimulating and positive environment by providing a range of activities that are founded on the individual needs and interests of each child.
Educators work to promote both children’s independence and their ability to work cooperatively with peers and adults, actively empowering children to become responsible for creating and contributing to their world and challenging and furthering children’s learning through their own interests and ideas.
Child-initiated activities are encourage and supported to allow children to independently choose from play experiences. Our program offers an extensive range of games, toys and equipment. Children can participate in both active and passive activities, in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Activities include arts and crafts, imaginative play, creative construction, puzzles, board games, active sports, themed activities, homework club.
We pride ourselves on the partnerships we forge with our families and the rapport we develop and use these relationships to enable us to support the children in our care and to create a sense of community and belonging.
